One of the reason I starting selling Stella & Dot was because I fell in love with one of their holiday collections about 2 years ago. I remember seeing a pair of earrings online and instantly thought of an outfit that would be perfect for them to wear to a Christmas party that I was going to. Fast forward to now and once again I can’t help but look at all of the outfit possibilities that I could create with different pieces Stella & Dot has to offer and they make great gifts too!!!
This set is something new for Stella & Dot. It includes a mascara from the brand EVER (our sister brand) and is perfect for the girl on the go. It includes an essential rose gold eyelash pouch for makeup necessities, WHIPLASHmascara for elevating the everyday look and smokey sparkle studs for a little extra something!
This set offers a lip gloss from our sister brand (EVER) in an exclusive holiday color FLASH that visibly plumps lips while simultaneously delivering hydrating and softening benefits. As well as silver sparkle studs and the Leopard Pouf.
This set includes our Dutches studs. As well as our favorite wishing bracelet dressed up in pavé sparkle and a sliding knot closure for adjustable length. It’s all tied together in our new Pouf in Grey Metallic Neoprene!
This clutch!!!! I feel in love with it as soon as a saw it. This is one of the pieces that will elevated ANY outfit you pair it with. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money on outfits for the holidays, this is perfect for you…and under $70.00!!!
This beautiful vintage silver cuff makes a lavish statement for any occasion. This cuff fits a variety of wrist too which makes it a great gift!
This top features a sequin front with beautifully hand sewn sequins with a super soft knit backing. Featuring the same beautiful double V neckline in front and back, pair this style with your favorite black skinny jeans and you will be set for a night on the town!
The Gala top is fabricated in a luxurious stretch satin with a v neckline and raglan sleeve. An elongated shirt tail allows for more coverage and can easily be tucked in. This deep rich navy color pairs beautifully with the clutch I talked about above or a pair of statement earrings.
These beautiful vintage silver chandeliers make a lavish statement for any occasion. The heritage lace pattern on these has such great detail.
Okay, if you like any of these of would like to see more please visit my Stella & Dot site https://www.stelladot.com/sites/bethsigala
I also love how Stella & Dot has expanded into clothing. They have so many great options to choose from and the quality is great! I hope you’ve enjoyed my top picks for the holidays and I’d love to know which it your favorite!
Have a great day.

Since Sephora is offering 15% off (code: BIBONUS ends 11/19) I thought it would be fun to share a few items that I’ve been looking at. The sale ends on 11/19 so be sure to shop before then to save yourself a little money!
Laura Mercier – Shadows & Brights Metallic Caviar Stick Eye Colour Collection I’ve wanted to try these cream shadows and I think the pretty metallic finish they have will be perfect for upcoming holiday parties.
Philosopy Purity Cleanser This cleanser is my favorite! I use this (actually my hubby & two daughters do too!) It gently enough for my daughters sensitive skin, but also removes my makeup at the end of the day!
Charlotte Tilbury’s Party Girl Kit I think this kit is a great way to try a few different things from Charlotte Tilbury. I’ve heard so many people say how great her makeup is and this is a great way to try it out!
Bumble and bumble – Happy Hairdays Volume + Texture Trio I decided to give this a try after noticing my hair was starting to look thin and flat and I’m very happy with it. The shampoo has a nice clean sent and make my hair feel thicker. The texture spray is a nice way to finish off my hair and helps give it a nice extra lift! This is a great way to try out these products and would be nice for travel.
Dyson – Supersonic Hair Dryer I have heard so many wonderful things about this hairdryer from Dyson! It claims to dry hair faster and cause less damage to hair…oh and it helps promote smooth, shiny hair.
Okay so there are a few things I found online. Some are products that I’ve used and there are a few new things in there too! What are you getting from the Sephora sale?
Have a great weekend!

Happy Friday! Here in the Midwest we have started getting some cooler temps and my skin has a tendency to get dry in the winter so I wanted to share with you what I use to help prevent that from happening. What I’m sharing with you today are products that I have used for a few years and really have helped my skin stay hydrated during the cooler months.
Okay, that wraps up my top items to keep me from getting scaly!
I hope you all have a great weekend.

Hello:) Today I want to share one of my favorite desserts that I make after we go apple picking. This cake is so yummy and has been one of my favorite desserts ever since my mom would make it when I was a little girl. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! It’s pretty easy to make (the most time is spent cutting up the apples) and your house will smell SOOOOO good while it’s baking so it’s worth it!
Okay so here’s what you’ll need…
Apple Cake
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil (I used Canola)
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs (beaten)
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
3 c. apples (peeled & chopped)
1-2 tsp. powdered sugar (optional for top)
Combine sugar, oil, vanilla, eggs and salt in mixing bowl. Beat until combined. Mix flour, baking soda and cinnamon in separate bowl and then combine with first mixture. Stir in apples. Scoop mixture into a greased tube or bundt pan (it will be thick).
Bake at 325 degrees for about 1 1/2 hrs. or until cake tester comes out clean.
And here is the finished product. This cake is yummy served alone or with a light dusting of powdered sugar on top too! Enjoy.
Until next time!

I admit I really love jeans. I think they are a great closet staple that can be worn year round. Today I wanted to share some of my favorite jeans from some of my favorite brands and a few new brands I’m giving a try too! For reference I’m 5’5 and sometimes jeans run long on me. I sometimes refer to the brands measurements and occasionally choose the “short” length instead of the “regular” length.
Kut from the Kloth. This has quickly become a brand that I lean towards when I’m purchasing jeans. (I actually just recently realized they carry really cute jackets & tops too!). Their jeans come in a variety of styles. They are a good quality jeans, wash well and are very reasonably priced.
Catherine Ripped Boyfriend Jean Small rips and well-placed fading give trend-right edge to curve-flattering boyfriend jeans designed to wear rolled to show off the ankle.
Diana Stretch Skinny Jeans A saturated indigo wash aged with subtle fading and whiskering enhances the lean and leggy look of skinny jeans cut from stretch denim. These are one of my top favorite jeans that I own. The fit really nice to my curves. I have these in both regular and short length.
Connie Frayed Ankle Skinny Frayed, angled hems highlight your footwear in wardrobe-staple skinnies cut from stretch denim in a sophisticated indigo wash. These are great for a edgie look, but with a great comfortable fit too!
STS Blue. This brand is a newer one for me. I was looking for a pair of lighter colored frayed hem jeans, but didn’t want to spend a lot of money on the. I found exactly what I was looking for. These jeans are comfortable, fit true to size and are at a really good price point.
Emma Ankle Skinny Frayed hems and a faded wash enhance the easygoing vibe of skinny jeans that’ll make their way into everyday rotation.
Ellie High Rise Skinny Jeans Classic black skinnies in a flattering high-waist silhouette are woven with stretch for a slim, comfortable fit. Great high waist and perfect for date night!
Universal Thread Target did it again with this brand! I have been happy with just about all of my clothing purchases from this brand and the price is perfect! The fit is sometimes a little off so be sure to try them on just to be safe!
High-Rise Skinny Jeans These dark rinse-wash skinny jeans have been engineered with the perfect fabric weight to smooth and sculpt your figure for an ultra-flattering look. These ran long to me so I purchased them in the short length.
I’m wanting to try another brand soon to see how they compare to the brands I already have. I like to stay under $100 for my denim because I like to try different brands and styles. All that I’ve shared are perfect if your the same way too. Let me know if you have a brand that you love!
Have a great day!

So this week my girls are back to school & although I’m bummed that summer break is over, I realized I feel more organized during the school year. (I didn’t realize how much a routine helps me get my “to do” list done!) This morning I took their school calender and put everything in my calander. (Yikes there are a lot of days to remember!!!) I know there are a ton of places online to get personalized planners with fun stickers and custom layouts, but I picked up this 12 month planner from Target for under $11.00 & I like it! The monthly layout has plenty of room to write multiple things on each day and was exactly what I look for. I liked the pretty purple and pink color, but this one with blues and greens is a close second!
My older daughter also wanted a planner for school so I got her an academic planner for her. They had a ton of adorable options that she liked. They are the perfectly sized to easily fit in her backpack and they were all under $9.00!
This is just a start, but I think it’s a very important part of being organized. I use my phone calender too, but I still like to see everything on paper also…is anyone else like that? Also, I picked up the larger size for myself (8.5 x 11) and a smaller more compact size for my older daughter (8.5 x 6.25) which is perfect for her to slip into a front pocket of her backpack.
I hope you all have a great day. If you have some good back to school organization tips I’d love for you to share them.

I don’t know about you, but I love learning about new things that other people have had luck with so here are a few items that I’ve been really liking…
Peter Thomas Roth Skin To Die For This primer ROCKS! I can 100% tell a difference from the way my foundation wears when I have this on. It helps my foundation wear longer, blurs my pores and helps control the shine I usually get a few hours into my day. I highly recommend this to anyone who is
Supergoop Defense Refresh Setting Mist This setting spray is the perfect way to set my makeup during the hot weather we have had here in St. Louis and I love that it has SPF 50 also. This is also nice to use on my daughters too after they have been in and out of the pool and hasn’t caused any breakouts of any of our skin. I have the travel size which is perfect for my pool bag!
Addison & Gates Blackberry Vanilla hand cream. I found this at World Market (I love that place). It smells really good and is perfect for my purse or nightstand.
Stella & Dot Essential Hammered Hoops in Gold These featherweight hammered hoops are great. I have been wearing them a ton and they are so lightweight I can’t even feel them in my ear! (They come in silver too)
Flatout Foldit This flatbread has quickly become a lunchtime staple for me. It has great flavor, only 100 calories and 6 grams of protein. It comes in a few other flavors too which I’m excited to try.
Ok, there you have it! I hope you all have a great Friday-I’m relishing the last few weeks of summer break with my daughters.
Have a great day!

First let me apologize for the lack of posts I’ve had. I needed to take a break and refocus what I want my blog to be. I’m feeling refreshed and full of ideas I want to share so please hang in there….cause I’m back:)
I love the beginning of a new month. It is sort of a “reboot” to refocus what I want to accomplish, improve or even stop doing. I wanted to share my goals for August and I’d love to know what your goals are too.
Well, there you have it! 3 goals that I have for the month. All of these should be pretty easy to complete…fingers crossed! Let me know what goals you have for the month, I’d love to know what they are.
Have a great day.

I hope you all had a good week! It’s been a busy few weeks for me so I apologize for my lack of posts! Spring Break and A LOT of school events has taken up a big chunk of my time. Today my kiddos don’t have school and the rain in St. Louis finally let up (seriously I think it’s rained for a good 5 day straight!). The sun came out today too so I was happy I got to take my sweet puppy Mr. Henry for a nice walk this morning. I wanted to share a few of my favorites with you like this dress that I bought to wear on Easter from the Loft.
Unfortunately the temperature for Easter where I live are going to be the 30’s with a chance of snow (boo hoo) so I guess I’ll have to throw on a sweater too!
I also picked up a new self tanning mousse from Ulta since I’ll be wearing a dress this weekend and my skin could use a little hint of color! It has really good reviews so I decided to give it a try.
I have fair skin so a choose the medium shade, but it comes in a dark shade also. This mousse has such a light scent that I couldn’t even smell it 10 minutes after I applied it & spread really easy. I used this mitt to apply it…
This is my first time using a mitt to apply self tanner and I have to tell you I really liked it. Overall my experience with this self tanning mousse and mitt were great and I would definitely recommend it.
I picked up these shoes to wear with my dress…
These shoes are really cute and I think I’ll get a lot of wear out of them-they come in a few other colors too!
Okay, now I’m off to put together my girls Easter baskets and head to dinner. I hope you all have a great weekend.
