This is one of my favorite guides to put together! I really LOVE finding new products and sharing some that I have and really like. I hope this beauty guide helps you out this holiday season! Happy Shopping!!!
I’m starting out my holiday gift guide today. I wanted to start with the men first because I seem to have the hardest time shopping for my husband. I wanted to help you all out and share some of the past gifts I’ve given to my husband that he has really liked. I hope this helps you out too!
I admit I have way more lipsticks then I’ll ever use, but that doesn’t stop me from buying more. I have purchased a few lipsticks this month and I wanted to share a few that I really like.
This lipstick is a great formula that glides on smoothly and doesn’t dry out my lips. It has a nice satin finish.
This lip crayon is one of my favorites! It’s so easy to glide on and wears for a long time on my lips without drying them out. This lipcolor has a nice matte finish. I look forward to buying more of these!
This gloss is great for those days when I have to run out of the door, but still want a hint of color. This gloss looks great over both of the lip colors I’ve mentioned above too!
Lastly, before I put ANY lip color on my lips I always put this on
This is my favorite lip product ever! It helps prevent my lips from getting dry and chapped (even during the winter) and is fragrance and paraben free. I have these everywhere…one in my purse, my bathroom, my bedside table, my car…seriously they are everywhere!
So there are a few pink toned lip colors I have recently bought and have been really happy with. I’m always looking for new colors so let me know what you like.
Today I wanted to share one of my favorite crockpot recipes with you and it’s a pretty easy! I love Potato Soup and I love using my crockpot so this soup is on repeat at my house. What makes it even better is that even my daughters (1 whom is VERY picky) likes it too!!
It’s really simple to make and only takes a few ingredients. The best part is that it’s made in the crockpot! Here’s what you need…
1 (30 oz.) bag of Frozen Shredded Hash Brown Potatoes
In slow cooker put frozen hash browns, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, minced onion and pepper.
Cover crockpot and cook on low for 5 hours.
Stir mixture and add cream cheese (I cube my cream cheese so it’s in smaller pieces and easier to melt). Cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes (or until cream cheese is melted) stirring occasionally to combine cream cheese into soup.
Serve topped with cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon. Enjoy!
See, I told you this was an easy recipe. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much and my family and I do!
Okay, so yesterday I did a post about some cute Fall home decor from Target and then I realized that they have all of their sweaters on sale. They arebuy 1 get 1 50% off (hurry-the sale ends 10/21/17)!!! I wanted to share some of my top sweater picks with you.
So there you go, a few items that caught my attention from Evereve. If you haven’t shopped with them before I highly recommend you check them out. They have many brands that I like and have shoes and accessories too…oh and be sure to check out there sale section too!
I wanted to share a really quick and easy recipe I made this weekend. I used peaches, but any fruit could be used. Oh, and I forgot to tell you it only has 4 ingredients (I forgot to take a picture of the vanilla extract…oops!).
1 box yellow cake mix
1 29 oz. can of peaches in heavy syrup (cherries would be a good option too)
1 stick of butter, thinly sliced
1/8 tsp. vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spread canned peaches and syrup on the bottom of 9×13 glass baking dish. Add vanilla extract to peaches and stir. Sprinkle the cake mix over the peaches evenly. Place the thin slices of butter evenly over the top of the cake mix. Bake for 45-50 minutes (or until top is slightly browned). Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream (the way my family likes it) or serve alone.
See I told you it was easy! I hope you enjoy this not only yummy but really simple recipe.
Good Morning! For those who don’t know I started selling Stella & Dot a couple of months ago. I thought about it for quite a while before I took the plunge and I’m happy I did. I have had a really good, positive experience with the company and I’m totally in love with all of there jewelry, accessories and last month the launched tops and I’m loving them too! I thought today I’d share my favorites from the September new releases. Let me know what you think!
Charlotte Druzy Earrings I think druzy stones are so cool. I love how no two are alike and they wrapped around a delicate chandelier frame. These also come in raspberry and pale blue (shown in emerald).
Philippa Bracelet I love the vintage gold finish this bracelet has and I think it could be a great piece to go with just about everything.
Reversible Infinity Scarf This is the perfect piece to throw on and look put together instantly! It has two different neutral leopard prints that would work with a lot of the colors in my wardrobe.
Roz One Shoulder Top This top is just beautiful in this gorgeous shade of burgundy. Not only could you wear it with jeans, I think it would be perfect for holiday parties with a black skirt too. Very versatile!
Covet Sunday Bag This bag can be worn cross body or over the shoulder and looks beautiful in olive suede with silver hardware. This bag also come in burgundy suede and saddle leather too!
Ok so those are my picks from the just released September collection! It was really hard to narrow it down to just these, but I think the pieces I chose are really versatile and at good price points too. Please let me know if you have any questions about any of these or any other item from Stella & Dot.
I love grilled asparagus, but I wanted to try something different so I mixed a few recipes together and came up with a recipe that goes in the oven. It was SO good and really easy to make. The crispy topping from the panko and parmesan was just AWESOME! It’s all mixed in a freezer bag too so clean-up is super simple.
1 bunch of asparagus
3 cloves of garlic
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1/3 c. panko breadcrumbs
1/3 c. shredded parmesan cheese
Wash and trim asparagus. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line pan with parchment paper (highly recommend this for easy clean-up!). Put trimmed asparagus in Ziploc bag and add remaining ingredients. Shake bag until all of the asparagus is coated with mixture. Empty bag onto pan and bake for 15 min.
SO that’s it-I told you it was easy! Above is the picture of what it looked like when I took it out of the oven. It was a hit in my house and will definitely be made again! Let me know if you give it a try, I’d love to get your thoughts on it.
