Pink Lipsticks

I admit I have way more lipsticks then I’ll ever use, but that doesn’t stop me from buying more.  I have purchased a few lipsticks this month and I wanted to share a few that I really like.

IMG_4466
Clinique Sweet Pop

This lipstick is a great formula that glides on smoothly and doesn’t dry out my lips. It has a nice satin finish.

IMG_1433
Bobbi Brown Art Stick-Dusty Pink

This lip crayon is one of my favorites! It’s so easy to glide on and wears for a long time on my lips without drying them out. This lipcolor has a nice matte finish.  I look forward to buying more of these!

High Shimmer Lip Gloss-Pastel

This gloss is great for those days when I have to run out of the door, but still want a hint of color.  This gloss looks great over both of the lip colors I’ve mentioned above too!

Lastly, before I put ANY lip color on my lips I always put this on

Aquaphor Lip Repair

This is my favorite lip product ever!  It helps prevent my lips from getting dry and chapped (even during the winter) and is fragrance and paraben free.  I have these everywhere…one in my purse, my bathroom, my bedside table, my car…seriously they are everywhere!

So there are a few pink toned lip colors I have recently bought and have been really happy with.  I’m always looking for new colors so let me know what you like.

Have a great day!

Easy Crockpot Potato Soup

Today I wanted to share one of my favorite crockpot recipes with you and it’s a pretty easy!  I love Potato Soup and I love using my crockpot so this soup is on repeat at my house.  What makes it even better is that even my daughters (1 whom is VERY picky) likes it too!!

It’s really simple to make and only takes a few ingredients.  The best part is that it’s made in the crockpot!  Here’s what you need…

IMG_4773

  • 1 (30 oz.) bag of Frozen Shredded Hash Brown Potatoes
  • 1 (32 oz.) Chicken Broth (I prefer unsalted)
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken soup
  • 2 Tbsp Minced Onion
  • 1/ tsp. ground black pepper (not pictured…oops!)
  • 1 (8 oz.) softened Cream Cheese
  • Optional toppings: shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon
  1. In slow cooker put frozen hash browns, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, minced onion and pepper.
  2. Cover crockpot and cook on low for 5 hours.
  3. Stir mixture and add cream cheese (I cube my cream cheese so it’s in smaller pieces and easier to melt).  Cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes (or until cream cheese is melted) stirring occasionally to combine cream cheese into soup.
  4. Serve topped with cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.  Enjoy!

See, I told you this was an easy recipe.  I hope you enjoy this recipe as much and my family and I do!

Sweater Weather-Target Style

Okay, so yesterday I did a post about some cute Fall home decor from Target and then I realized that they have all of their sweaters on sale.  They are buy 1 get 1 50% off  (hurry-the sale ends 10/21/17)!!!  I wanted to share some of my top sweater picks with you.

  1. This Allover Animal Pullover Sweater is so cute.  I love the crewneck neckline and side slits at the bottom, it comes in green and gray animal print too!
  2. This Choker Pullover Sweater is very on trend right now and is under $45!  I prefer to spend more on classic pieces and sprinkle in less expensive trendy pieces and this is the perfect way to do that.
  3. This Chunky Cowlneck Tunic Sweater just screams Fall weather to me!  Leggings and a pair of booties and your ready to go!
  4. I saw this Ruffle Any Day Sweater and immediately knew I had to have it!  It has the most beautiful ruffle on the neckline and bell sleeves!  It is sheer so I wear a nude cami underneath like this.
  5. I’m a sucker for cardigan’s and this Chenille Open Cardigan is no exception!  It is SO soft and has pockets too!
  6. The sleeves on this Bell Sleeve Sweater are so precious.  It comes in this pretty soft white color and black too.

Okay so those are a few sweater picks that I liked.  I think that they are all very reasonably priced and the second one being 50% off right now makes them even better!

Until next time-have a great day!

Fall favorites from Target

I’m sure a lot of you can understand what it’s like to go to Target for one thing and come out with a cart full…happends to me all the time! I thought I’d share a few of my top picks.

1. The Small Gold Pumpkin and 2. Large Gold Pumpkin are both really beautiful.  These both look so pretty mixed in with my white pumpkins and look perfect on my entry table.

3.  This Fall Wall Hanging is really cute and it was only $5.00!!!  This wooden sign could either be hung on the wall or leaned up against your fireplace surrounded by pumpkins (what I did)!

4. This Thankful Platter in white with the gold lettering is simply elegant and goes perfectly with the gold pumpkins I talked about above.

5.  This Gray Plaid Table Runner is the perfect blend of all of the colors I like to decorate with this time of year…simply perfect!

6. This Two-Toned Cutting Board is so cute on my kitchen counter with a candle on it!  I know it’s meant for food, but I like it so much I don’t think I want to get it dirty:)

These are just a few of the really cute items I found at Target.  I seriously could have shared 50 more, but I narrowed it down to just these…for now!!

Until next time, have a great day!

My favorite”Fall Transition” picks… Evereve edition!

Earlier this week I posted a few of my favorites from Loft. Today I’m telling you about a few of my favorite picks from Evereve.

  1. This Slit V Tee is a nice play on a basic tee.  It comes in charcoal (shown above) and olive green.
  2. This Gingersnap Sweater is so pretty!  I don’t know which I like more, the beautiful color or the fun sleeves!
  3.  This Piper Mesh V Tee is another play on a basic tee.  The mesh overlay is so pretty-this would be perfect for date night or drinks with the girls!
  4.  These Biker Skinny w/ Zippers are such a nice change from basic skinny jeans.  The zipper details are great!
  5.  This Floral Bell Sleeve Top is one of my favorites!  I love the shades of blue in this 3/4 length top and the lace up neckline is great.
  6.  This Leopard Jacquard Coat is so cute!  I own nothing like this and I love the length of it.

So there you go, a few items that caught my attention from Evereve.  If you haven’t shopped with them before I highly recommend you check them out.  They have many brands that I like and have shoes and accessories too…oh and be sure to check out there sale section too!

Quick Peach Cobbler

I wanted to share a really quick and easy recipe I made this weekend.  I used peaches, but any fruit could be used.  Oh, and I forgot to tell you it only has 4 ingredients (I forgot to take a picture of the vanilla extract…oops!).

fullsizeoutput_19fd

1 box yellow cake mix
1 29 oz. can of peaches in heavy syrup (cherries would be a good option too)
1 stick of butter, thinly sliced
1/8 tsp. vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spread canned peaches and syrup on the bottom of 9×13 glass baking dish. Add vanilla extract to peaches and stir. Sprinkle the cake mix over the peaches evenly. Place the thin slices of butter evenly over the top of the cake mix. Bake for 45-50 minutes (or until top is slightly browned). Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream (the way my family likes it) or serve alone.

See I told you it was easy! I hope you enjoy this not only yummy but really simple recipe.

Stella & Dot September new releases!

Good Morning!  For those who don’t know I started selling Stella & Dot a couple of months ago.  I thought about it for quite a while before I took the plunge and I’m happy I did.  I have had a really good, positive experience with the company and I’m totally in love with all of there jewelry, accessories and last month the launched tops and I’m loving them too!  I thought today I’d share my favorites from the September new releases.  Let me know what you think!

  1. Everett Cold Shoulder Top  I love the flattering neckline of this top and it has an exaggerated shirt tail in the back.
  2. Covet Kensington Tote This genuine leather tote with shiny gold hardware is beautiful.  It has a zip top too and a detachable strap.
  3. Avery Bell Sleeve Knit Top These bell sleeves are perfect and very on trend too.
  4. Charlotte Druzy Earrings I think druzy stones are so cool.  I love how no two are alike and they wrapped around a delicate chandelier frame.  These also come in raspberry and pale blue (shown in emerald).
  5. Philippa Bracelet I love the vintage gold finish this bracelet has and I think it could be a great piece to go with just about everything.
  6. Reversible Infinity Scarf This is the perfect piece to throw on and look put together instantly!  It has two different neutral leopard prints that would work with a lot of the colors in my wardrobe.
  7. Roz One Shoulder Top This top is just beautiful in this gorgeous shade of burgundy.  Not only could you wear it with jeans, I think it would be perfect for holiday parties with a black skirt too.  Very versatile!
  8. Covet Sunday Bag This bag can be worn cross body or over the shoulder and looks beautiful in olive suede with silver hardware.  This bag also come in burgundy suede and saddle leather too!

Ok so those are my picks from the just released September collection!  It was really hard to narrow it down to just these, but I think the pieces I chose are really versatile and at good price points too.  Please let me know if you have any questions about any of these or any other item from Stella & Dot.

Have a great weekend!

Roasted Asparagus

IMG_9827

I love grilled asparagus, but I wanted to try something different so I mixed a few recipes together and came up with a recipe that goes in the oven.  It was SO good and really easy to make.  The crispy topping from the panko and parmesan was just AWESOME!  It’s all mixed in a freezer bag too so clean-up is super simple.

1 bunch of asparagus

3 cloves of garlic

1/4 tsp. pepper

1/2 tsp. salt

2 Tbsp. olive oil

1/3 c. panko breadcrumbs

1/3 c. shredded parmesan cheese

Wash and  trim asparagus. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Line pan with parchment paper (highly recommend this for easy clean-up!).  Put trimmed asparagus in Ziploc bag and add remaining ingredients.  Shake bag until all of the asparagus is coated with mixture.  Empty bag onto pan and bake for 15 min.

SO that’s it-I told you it was easy!  Above is the picture of what it looked like when I took it out of the oven.  It was a hit in my house and will definitely be made again!  Let me know if you give it a try, I’d love to get your thoughts on it.

Have a great day!
