I love grilled asparagus, but I wanted to try something different so I mixed a few recipes together and came up with a recipe that goes in the oven. It was SO good and really easy to make. The crispy topping from the panko and parmesan was just AWESOME! It’s all mixed in a freezer bag too so clean-up is super simple.
1 bunch of asparagus
3 cloves of garlic
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1/3 c. panko breadcrumbs
1/3 c. shredded parmesan cheese
Wash and trim asparagus. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line pan with parchment paper (highly recommend this for easy clean-up!). Put trimmed asparagus in Ziploc bag and add remaining ingredients. Shake bag until all of the asparagus is coated with mixture. Empty bag onto pan and bake for 15 min.
SO that’s it-I told you it was easy! Above is the picture of what it looked like when I took it out of the oven. It was a hit in my house and will definitely be made again! Let me know if you give it a try, I’d love to get your thoughts on it.
